Without exaggeration, this role has been created to be one of the most senior in our organisation. Accordingly, we’re determined to search globally for the right person. Opportunities abound for the person fortunate enough to be appointed.
This is first and foremost a business-orientated position. It is assumed you have a solid technical & functional background in SAP but have, for some time now, been working at a much higher level, understanding complex business scenarios, articulating varying solutions and driving their subsequent delivery. This is a true consulting role which relies heavily on a broad knowledge of SAP, across both infrastructure and applications, with dedicated vertical specialists to support you at the more detailed levels. Very much a team approach, you will be the one who presents to customers and ensures a fully co-ordinated effort.
With multiple stakeholders, within the customer as well as internally, you are a natural relationship builder who has earned themselves a reputation for being a strong and intuitive leader. This position brings with it end to-end accountability across pre-sales through to final delivery. You’ll own pre-sales activities, and have responsibility for RFI’s and RFPs, working closely with Sales to capture requirements, technical teams to understand landscape considerations and functional teams to qualify options. You will own the process throughout and have responsibility for presenting the overall architecture for the project.
This is not to be confused with a project management role. Rather, it’s emphasis in on enterprise architectural leadership and everything that stems from this.
In addition, you will work with a number of customers, wit6h whom Soltius has a long-standing strategic relationship, creating and delivering architectural roadmaps. You will be looked to as a thought leader on future product and associated business direction for both Soltius and our customers.
This opportunity brings with it a blended mix of pre-sales, architectural, account management and strategic responsibilities and, given this, will fulfil the aspirations of those of you seeking considerable challenge, versatility and accountability.
Functional experience with PM, MM, PP, SCM, QM, SD, CRM and FICO will place you at an advantage, as will an understanding of Cloud based technologies (ideally AWS).
Our ideal candidate will, have a minimum of 10 years’ SAP experience in the areas outlined above and a strong background in consulting.
